Pragmatic. Goal-oriented. Empathic.
Organizational developer by vocation
I have always wanted to understand organizations and observed how people interact with each other.
This motivated me to undertake a wide range of further training, led me to a number of operational roles in large companies and finally led me to what I really enjoy doing: supporting companies, teams and people as an organizational developer, coach, lecturer and facilitator.
Abundant knowledge and experience for holistic support
OOrganisational developer and coach, freelance and part-time for SBB
I have been supporting organisations, teams, and people in the form of workshops, coachings, change support, and cultural transformation for over 15 years. At SBB, the focus of my work is on top management. As a freelancer, I work with teams at all hierarchical levels and companies from all sectors. In addition to methodological expertise, I bring a deep understanding of and empathy to what I do. From my own experience, I understand the feelings that arise in difficult team situations, during reorganisations, or in challenging life moments, and am clear about the forms of support that can be helpful.
Communication trainer and performance coach
Whether for an important presentation or in preparation for a challenging work situation – I have been helping people improve their communication for almost 20 years. I gained necessary skills by studying literature and then working in marketing. Now I am often on stage myself and host management events with up to 500 people, such that my own practical experience can flow into coaching sessions.
Lecturer at ETH and colleges of higher education
Sharing knowledge has always been important to me. With my part-time positions at the ETH on leadership topics, at the ZHAW on innovation teams and at the FHNW on personnel and organizational development, I share knowledge at the cutting edge of research.
Earlier operational roles in major international companies
After starting as a Contract & Risk Manager in energy trading at BKW Energie AG, I worked for the purchase of hydroelectric and then wind power plants abroad. Goal-orientated cooperation, solution-oriented thinking, rapid processing of complex issues in an international context, and close collaboration with management were part of my everyday work.
As team leader for personnel and organisational development at Bosch Switzerland, I transitioned to a large corporation. In addition to leadership experience, I learned about the structures of a large company and worked on global initiatives.
Interviewed: Who I am and what I bring to the table
"With me, things turn easier as I take care to stage a development process. Challenging situations are reframed to achievable steps that can be taken with confidence and successfully mastered. Often, it is about understanding not only with one's head, but also about following your gut and feeling with your heart so that change becomes sustainable."
